Position overview
We are looking for a strong Data Scientist & Machine Learning employee to join our existing Data Scientist Team who has previously built up a data scientist & machine learning platform. We have an existing setup written using Clickhouse, Superset and scikit-learn, and we’re looking for someone who has in-depth experience on building and growing this platform in a fast, efficient and scalable way, to help us grow from 50 to the next 1000 customers in an efficient manner.
Key responsibilities
Build a data scientist platform to analyze ContextSDK data
Build up tools, graphs and queries to identify patterns, trends, and anomalies in structured and unstructured data
Collaborate with the engineering team to provide more self-service to customers with our dashboards, highlighting model performance, the effect on conversion rates, and how the Context Insights can improve the app
Qualifications
In-depth experience with working with datasets of >10 Billion events (> 2,000 Billion data points). We’re currently processing around 60 Million events per day (each having around 200 data points)
Strong programming skills for data manipulation and analysis using libraries such as pandas, NumPy, and scikit-learn or similar alternatives
Solid understanding of statistical concepts, hypothesis testing, regression, classification, clustering, and other machine learning techniques
Work with engineering to improve the type of signals and features we extract from end-devices, based on their statistical experience, as well as analyzing the data already collected
Knowledgeable regarding CI/CD and container technologies
Familiar with ETL pipelines and BI tools to create insights from raw data to visualizations in a dashboard
Ability to work independently and as part of a remote team
Ability to work in a collaborative, agile environment
