Data Privacy
The data collected by Context Insights is not considered PII (Personal Identifiable Information) and as such cannot be used to identify a single user. Furthermore the necessary care is taken to ensure security of data both in transit and at rest.
Is it really free?
Yes! Using Context Insights is completely free.
We also offer a ContextSDK Decision product, helping you find the right moment for specific messages, banners and prompts powered by your own custom machine learning model, which is an optional, paid service.
Does it need any app permissions?
Context Insights works only with data that is freely available to any iOS app so no additional permissions need to be requested from your users.
Does it operate with ATT?
Our SDK does not require App Tracking Transparency (ATT), enabling seamless integration without prompting users for tracking permissions and offering simplified implementation with full privacy compliance.
How does it work?
Context Insights uses the accelerometer and gyroscope (plus some more sources) built into every iPhone to accurately predict the current real world context of your user base. Using this information we can give you a unique new perspective on how your user base is using your app. And all this without processing any PII (Personal Identifiable Information) ever.
Can I pin-point a context to a specific user?
No! We've built Context Insights to ensure the highest level of privacy, never allowing any party (including us) to identify a specific user, or device. There are multiple levels of technical implementation details that guarantee this. For example, we won't show your Context Insights Dashboard until you've received at least 10,000 app starts, making it impossible to track a specific person.
How does it affect my app?
Context Insights only has a minimal impact on your app. Adding less than 700kb to your apps footprint and consuming less than 1MB of RAM.
